Online magic and event recap
For the last few years Cigna has been sponsoring the Disneyland and Disney World Half Marathon Weekend. Main initiative was to build event and brand awareness and promote their commitment to Cigna’s mission, both before and after the event. With an internal interactive website, I was able to bring the recap of the event to life and showcase the different aspects that made the event so powerful. The interactive story is the vehicle which Cigna can effectively and powerfully promote all aspects of the marathon weekend.
Objective of this interactive was to educate employees on Cigna’s sponsorship and on the various elements that pertain to the event along with engaging employees around how the sponsorship supports the brand and mission. The interactive also inspired employees to take control of their health, and potentially participate in a similar event.
The Disney interactive has always been something to look for after the event for a recap. The functionality of the piece is recognizable by it’s uniqueness and has been the inspiration for the ask for something similar in other marketing materials within Cigna.
